DIPLOMA IN HOTEL MANAGEMENT & TOURISM
This entry level program is designed for those looking for a career start in line positions in hospitality and tourism operations. Students learn about food service, production and basic hospitality. Hospitality is a global industry with approximately 400 International Hotel Corporations and over one million hotel rooms worldwide. The industry continues to grow and offer exciting carrier opportunities for young people with enthusiasm and desire to succeed. It is no longer sufficient for potential managers to learn through practical experience alone. The industry demands that future hotel management also have graduate level management and business skills, producing graduates with right skills, knowledge and experience to take up careers in the hospitality industry worldwide.

The institute has well equipped classrooms with fully organized departments for practical training in food production, food and beverage service, housekeeping operations and front office.

Accommodation & Placements
Accommodation assistance will be provided in areas close to the institute, details may be obtained from the administration office. Currently, employment rate of AHR Aviation Academy is 100%. Diploma holders are placed as Management Trainees, Receptionist, Restaurant Supervisor, Banquet Supervisor, Night Auditor, Sales Coordinator and Duty Manager.
DURATION: 12 Months
(Two hours a day, five days a week)
We are providing part time jobs for the students to give them an opportunity to be in the industry to improve their communication skill and be familiar with the working atmosphere of a multinational culture.

There are fulltime, highly qualified faculty. Many professionals and eminent persons from the hospitality industry and management field from Goa, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Mangalore and even from overseas are on the list of visiting faculty.

ELIGIBILITY
Male or female within the age limit 17-25 years, + 2 pass in any stream / degree preferred, with minimum height of 165cm and 157cm respectively. Good physique, pleasing personality, basic command of communicative English and good medical standard as per the requirements of their prospective employers. Willing to improve on communicative English. Special scholarships for SC/ST category

Training & Placement
A training and placement officer will maintain liaison with the Hotel Industry for placement of all students who have successfully completed the program / Diploma Course. Professionals in hotels and hospitality are in demand in all parts of the world. You can work in a hotel, a cruise ship, vacation resorts, industrial catering, and other similar segments. As per the Research and Markets report on the hotel industry in India, the market is estimated to be worth US $30 billion by 2016.

Annual survey will be carried out to ascertain the number of specialization required for employment in the Hotel Industry. On job training will be provided to all students. A Data bank of every student will be created to ensure that all students are successfully placed in the hotels of repute.
